Ceylon Black tea

1.) Iced Tea Lemonade
Ingredients
  • 1 liter of water
  • 6 tbsp of Ceylon black tea leaves
  • 3 cups of cold water
  • ¾ cup of sugar made into a syrup with ¾ of cup water
  • 1 cup of fresh lemon juice
Preparation
  1. Bring the water to a boil.

  2. Remove from heat and add tea leaves.

  3. Keep for 3-5 minutes.

  4. Stir and strain into a container, add the cold water, and the cooled sugar syrup.

  5. Pour in the lemon juice and mix well. To serve, pour over ice cubes.

Ceylon Green Tea

Ceylon Green Tea is mainly made from hand-picked buds and leaves. They are mostly grown in the Uva and Nuwara Eliya regions of Sri Lanka.

Ingredients
  • 80ml Ceylon Green Tea with lychee and ginger (chilled and also a strong brew)
  • Two Scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • Ginger Beer
  • Strawberries and green leaves for garnishing(optional)
Method
  • Fill the glass halfway with ice cubes
  • Put 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream into the glass
  • Gently pour the tea over the ice cream
  • Add Ginger Beer
  • Garnish with a strawberry and a green leaf(optional)

Lemon Tea

Lemon & Lime Iced Tea

This is a delicious drink refreshing drink made using pure Ceylon Tea.

Ingredients
  • 250ml of Lemon Tea
  • 50ml fresh orange juice
  • 20ml sugar syrup
Method
  • Make 300ml of tea and brew for 3 minutes and put it into a glass.
  • Add lemon and lime wedges.
  • Add ice up to the rim.
  • Add syrup and stir.
